Enid, OK

We arrived in Enid about 4 weeks ago. We're here to finish the last part of Air Force pilot training. I'll be flying the T-1, which is a business jet type and should finish up in July-August timeframe.

Since we've been here there has been some serious snow. Here's a picture of Carter in our backyard:

That's right, we have a house! Well it's not ours, we're still renting, but it is a house. So I think we're officially done with apartment living. It's nice to have a garage and a back yard and not have to hear your neighbors all the time. There's also a fun little park to go to here with some ducks. Carter loved it but it got cold quick.

In other good news, The Air Force gives out bonuses to people to speak particular foreign languages. Portuguese didn't used to be on the list but they recently changed that. So I took the proficiency test last week and maxed it out! Sweet! So we're going to apply the monthly bonus to our Brazil trip fund.

Wow, that is awesome about the bonus! Looks like you guys have more snow than we do. How fun! I love the pictures. Keep them coming :)

It's nice to see where you live and hear a little about it. I didn't know it really snowed much in OK.
Congrats on the bonuses, good idea for the money!
