Carter's Testimony

Carter recently bore his testimony in Church after he saw all the other kids doing it. It was cute and he loved talking to everyone on the microphone. Today, while at home on a Saturday, he said he wanted to bear his testimony. I asked him what he wanted to say and this was his reply:

"I know this house is true."

Funny Almost Profanity from Carter

Today Carter grabbed a fork and playfully attacked Fabiane with it (no one was injured).

Fabiane: Carter what are you doing?

Carter: I'm forking you!

Mossa

We have a new addition to the family! Her name is Mossa (in portuguese the two S's would be a "C" with a cedilia but we couldn't put that on the name tag. It means little girl or young woman). She's a 3.5 month old American Pit Bull Terrier and is a lot of fun. We've had her for a week and a half now and we love her. She's very playful but mostly just wants to have her ears scratched and be petted. Carter loves her, of course, and finally today, Fabiane said she does too. She was reluctant to love a dog but Mossa got to her. She likes to go for walks, though mostly it's to see who else is outside because she loves people.

We recognize there is a stigma with Pit Bulls that they are very dangerous. So we did some research first and found that while they are very dangerous if they attack, because they are such powerful dogs, an extremely high majority (like 99.9%) of them are very friendly with people. They were originally bred to take down bulls for butchers and ranchers and later for fighting other dogs and animals. But they were also bred to be very submissive and friendly with people so that they wouldn't pose a threat to their masters. She's just a puppy, but so far Mossa has proven to be VERY friendly with people.

Welcome to the family Mossa!
